Even were AGI & autonomous swarms of robot space drones to take over space exploration tomorrow, they'd probably want to take a few humans, and maybe some other species along—heck why not a biosphere or two?

Probably not.

How exactly do things get smuggled into prison? Does the sender hide it inside something else very well? Does someone put it in their butt? Do the prisoners make deals with the officers?

Maybe not ‘necessary’ necessary, but still handy to bring along. How better to help young AI learn patience?
